Questions people ask us
Why is my car A/C blowing warm air?
Most often the system is low on refrigerant because of a leak, the compressor or its clutch is not engaging, or an electrical part such as a fuse, relay or pressure switch has failed. A condenser fan that stops turning can also make the air warm when the car is stopped.
Is a recharge enough?
Only if nothing else is wrong. Refrigerant does not get used up; if it is low, it leaked out somewhere. Recharging without fixing the leak usually means warm air again soon.
Can you fix it the same day?
It depends on the cause and on the parts. Customers have had a compressor installed the same day; call and describe the problem, and we'll tell you what to expect.
